Which IP does my device use?
You can have both. Each connection uses one IP version. Browsers generally prefer IPv6 when available and quickly try IPv4 too if needed, using a working connection without a long wait. The website, network, and connection speed affect the choice, so there is no fixed “primary” IP for every site.
The large address above is what DeviceScope saw on this page request. The separate checks show your public addresses as seen by ipify. A VPN, iCloud Private Relay, or network translation can change these addresses; they are not necessarily assigned directly to your device.
“Not detected” means a check could not confirm an address. Your network may lack that connection type, or the check may be blocked or temporarily unavailable.

Missing provider/location details are looked up through ipwho.is using the IP seen by DeviceScope; previous IPs and precise location are never sent to that service.
